The FUJIFILM X-T30 II is a flexible mirrorless camera that stands out for its sophisticated photo and video capabilities as well as its svelte and user-friendly controls. With an updated image sensor and CPU, it is possible to capture 4K video and high-resolution stills. Additionally, an improved autofocus mechanism ensures precise and quick focusing. The 425-point phase-detection autofocus technology and back-illuminated architecture of the 26.1MP APS-C-format X-Trans CMOS 4 image sensor provide fast, accurate focusing performance and subject tracking across the sensitivity range. With a new facial Selection option, the 100% phase-detect autofocus offers robust eye and facial recognition autofocus. The X-Processor 4, which employs four CPUs for quicker picture processing and continuous shooting up to 8 frames per second with a mechanical shutter, 30 frames per second with a 1.25x crop and electronic shutter, and inbuilt DCI/UHD 4K30 video recording, rounds out the imaging and focusing capabilities.
The APS-C-format 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor in the FUJIFILM X-T30 II has a back-illuminated design for better low-light performance, smooth tonal reproduction, and a low native ISO 160 setting. Because it is an X-Trans sensor, it also uses a randomized pixel array, which eliminates the need for an optical low-pass filter and results in very crisp and high-quality images. This AF technology of FUJIFILM X-T30 II offers low-light sensitivity down to EV -7 and quicker, more accurate focusing performance. In addition to using four CPU units for speedier picture processing, the X-Processor 4 also improves overall performance by having faster tracking and autofocus.
An alluring variety of video features is available with the X-T30, including internal UHD 4K30 video recording at up to 200 Mb/s, which allows for simultaneous external and internal recording. The FUJIFILM X-T30 II is also able to record in DCI 4K30 and Full HD 1080p120. Video files may be stored in 4K using MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 or HEVC/H.265 compressions. A customizable Grain Effect setting is also offered to imitate the appearance of vintage film images with an organic grainy appearance, which is particularly visible when printing, in addition to replicating specific film types.
